[And a couple hours later she's taking refuge and trying to calm down as she calls him, a little frantic and hoping he'll answer.]

[KF doesn't pick up until the fifth ring, out of breath.] You okay?

[She's breathing pretty hard herself, and it takes her a moment to answer.]

Remember how I said they might have been merging? Well, there are a lot more of them than I expected!

Whoa okay like- Okay look. [Naturally Robin's doing something and warned Wally that he was going to be practicing radio silence so he's absolutely not going to pick up his phone, of course.] -Look, I'm not usually the strategy guy, I'm usually the 'run around and punch the dudes' guy.

All you gotta do is stay calm and- I mean Gogo, c'mon, you're faster than those things, right? Take out as many as possible before they join up with the big guy, then deal with the big guy!

[She clicks her tongue behind her teeth and takes a few seconds to breathe regularly.

She can still hear it sloshing a block away.]

KF, the big guy is the size of a bridge. My maglev is useless. The only thing I've been able to do is pull others out of the way, and the discs weren't meant to carry that kind of weight effectively. [This wasn't supposed to have been a testing phase, but at least now she knows what to fix.]

Then-

Okay, gimme a minute to think. Okay. [KF's brain does a little skip for a second when he realizes she called him 'KF' just because only Robin's ever- anyway. Think. Think.] Okay. Facts are still the same as when it was just a bunch of little ones. It's a gel, and gels dry out. That's probably why it's got a casing. You make enough cuts in the casing and get some fire or dust or air or something in there, it'll start drying up and be less flesh-eating and more useless. All that's the same.

If your maglev can't cut anything, find something that can. And fast people are decoys, always decoys. If you can't get people out of the way 'cause your maglev doesn't support them, then you distract that thing from them somehow. Be creative.

I don't know how you do this sort of thing for a living. [She lifts her visor to pinch the bridge of her nose, thinking.] Honey's probably got something I can throw at it. It's still slow, avoiding it hasn't been an issue so far. [If not an issue meant turning a corner and nearly having a face full of goo.]As long as I can get it to notice me.

[Honey? Her boyf- not important KF focus.] You're gonna be fine! I'll be there in a couple hours but you're gonna have that thing wrapped up in twenty minutes, guaranteed. Go kick its ass.

[That's going to be a fun misunderstanding to clear up later. But for now she had people to save. She's takes a deep breath.]
