In fact, Wally's betting he's up in Virginia, establishing a presence in the city they're going to move to. That's why he's going to head there first through the porters -and thinks about how he won't be able to do this if he unregisters, instead having to make the several hour trip entirely on foot- and begins searching for him in the dingier part of the city.
Robin? Made out with two girls on his birthday? No way.]

It's gonna be a long search, because despite the bright red and yellow, Robin is very, very good at not being found when he doesn't want to be. Today he kind of does, though, so he doesn't make much of an effort. He does relocate a few times, though. Juuust to keep Wally on his toes.
In the end, Robin's perched on the roof of the courthouse amongst the gargoyles, legs dangling carelessly over the street below. He's eating a churro when Wally finally arrives. ]
Took you long enough. Got hungry waiting around. [ churro wave. ]

[ Of course he did. ]
Here. Don't keel over or anything. I'm not dragging you back home.

Dude, is that seriously why you ran all the way out here? Because I kissed a couple of girls?

[ He shrugs casually, like he makes out with two girls on the same day like, all the time, whatever, no big deal. ]
It was two separate and unrelated incidents, first of all. Not like... three-way kissing. How would that even work?
no subject
Um I don't know, I'm not the one here who makes out with two girls at the same time, you player. Why don't you give me the DL already?
no subject
Okay. But remember, you asked, so don't get weird.
Time one, in the Cave, with Zee, on the cheek. And before you say it doesn't count, she tracked me down specifically for a kiss ambush.

[KF shakes his churro at Robin.] You sweet, darling summer lamb. That does not count as making out with a girl. Not even in the same ballpark. Not even the same sport.

[ Yeah, reservations gone. ]

[ You can get through this without blushing, Robin. You can totally do it. ]
The scene: handsome young bachelor Dick Grayson's 14th birthday party. Half the school was there, because you don't skip out on a Wayne Manor party, even if you're not invited. We were all playing spin the bottle or seven minutes in heaven or whatever — the name doesn't matter. You know the rules. And me and Barbara — you know, my best friend from school? The one in computer club with me? Smart, funny, redhead?
She won. The prize: me.
So there we were, all alone in the dimly lit game closet. The lighting was soft, the music muffled in all the right ways. Ro. Mantic. [ haha yeah right he was totally panicking. ] Now, rules are rules, but I'm a gentleman. [ a hand on his heart. so sincere. ] So of course, I told her we didn't have to do anything. I'd respect that.
But our intrepid hero wins again, because KF, my friend: she wanted to do something. And do something we did.
[ And he's just gonna let that "something" hang in the air. ]
no subject
But Dick hadn't. Plus at his fourteenth birthday party? Fuckin' playboy. He's definitely a Bruce Wayne in the making.]

That's what being a natural means. Why is this so hard for you to believe?

[ because he's an expert now ]
Which you are so not good at. For the record.
