[Wally gingerly picks himself up, rubbing a fist against his back. Ow. Felt like getting thrown by Black Canary. Luckily, he didn't land on her comm and break it or anything, so he goes back to closing what are probably irrelevant tabs to make more processing room.] Ugh. Yeah. We all get powers when we show up here, right? [you little liar] How many tickets did you wanna buy?

[ Annie just uses whatever tab's open... which leaves many behind she doesn't even know are there. Switching between browser and text function is pretty big stuff for her, and she still messes that up!

Though she sounds pretty chalant when she answers: ]

Two. How many would it be if we checked out the Florida one with Artemis and the rest of the guys?

Annie quirks up her eyebrows and waits. There's lots of people with pre-existing teams, but Artemis is pretty keen on the vigilante thing, and for all of how Wally talks, it's not hard to hear where he falls on the "what is a hero what measure is good" spectrum. ]

[wait a second]

Hold on, you know Artemis? And who the heck are 'the guys' you're talking about?! Is this a prank, am I getting pranked?

I've known Artemis longer than I've known you.

[ She points out, casual as can be. ]

As for the guys, why would I know? I only learned you both knew each other about fifteen minutes ago. She recommended theme parks and the beach as well.

[ Peas in an American Pod or something, Annie still doesn't get it. ]

[Wally has taken over the flabbergasted thing now Annie, if that's cool.]

You what? She what? [wait a sec] Hold on, she did?

[ She's happy to hand it off - and raises her eyebrows a hair. Seriously... two peas in a pod right down to reactions, too. ]

Yes, yes, and yes. She thought the water park might be interesting too. A good distraction.

[ From, you know, recent events. ]

Oh.

[Not sure what to think of that.]

...well, it would be. So...yeah, if you wanna do some kind of group outing, I definitely vote water park. Thanks for inviting me on this not-date, I guess.

[ Annie shrugs her shoulders. ]

It was your idea in the first place. Why wouldn't we?

[ Really, she wonders if she should be paying attention to that social interaction as well. The more she knows, always the better, though tracking intrapersonal relationships gets messy. For the moment, she redirects her attention to her comm, in his hands. ]

We can look into that after we get my roommates taken care of?

[ She's called Reiner a friend all of once, to civilians who couldn't possibly understand what that meant for her to claim, last week. She hasn't said it since, and hasn't made the claim to Bertholdt.

Actually, she's... really bad at that period, but that's not the point. ]

Sure, yeah. [Now Wally kind of wants to snoop through her comm, see what she and Artemis have been talking about, but he won't. Since she can apparently throw his ass right over her tiny shoulder with very little trouble.]

Okay, here, look. You select this and it brings up ticket options. Just go to the daily tickets, because we don't want a season pass or anything. Looks like the cheapest ticket issss $24.99 per person, but that doesn't include meals and lockers. We're gonna want at least one locker to put our stuff in, like wallets and sunscreen and whatever.

[ No comment on the "we're" - planning both at the same time is what she'd proposed, after all. ]

Mmm, is theft a worry? I suppose a locker makes sense... Are you allowed to bring your own meal supplies along?

[ Her exciting life of texts is ... not actually exciting, but hey, the more he imagines, the more fun for him in the end. ]

Usually parks don't let you bring in your own stuff, but you can always pack a lunch and go like, "It's medical, I have a gluten allergy" or something and they'll let it slide.

[He adds up the tickets.] So the two people Artemis mentioned are probably our friends. Who else is going? -Ooh, can I invite anybody else? Is this a closed party?

[ Right, lie believably, people let it slide. Fits with the logic she already knows and understands. Annie quirks up her eyebrows at his question, followed by a small shrug of her shoulders. ]

I don't know. I don't care, really, either way... what do you think your friends will prefer?

They'll probably be cool with it. Anyway, we can't order them now 'cause we need everybody's money. Are you bringing anybody?

[ Blink. Uh... ]

I hadn't thought about it?

[ She's still setting up her roommates on a date in her head what is like. Figuring out friendly outings with others, or people she'd invite along? Artemis is... kind of the only person she's ever invited to go anywhere. ]

[Wally shrugs and hands her back her comm.] That's cool. Think about it, I'll talk to everybody and we can get together and pick a day when everyone can go. There's only like, one other person I'd ask besides Artemis and Rob and Con. Maybe Ellie. Oh- and Tommy, but I haven't talked to him in a while so maybe not. And- or maybe CK, she might wanna go. Ooh, definitely Jaime!

[...yeah someone is taking over your outing Annie, sorry]

Just one, I see.

[ Annie takes her comm back, resting it against her chest. She doesn't mind. It wasn't for her sake that she'd brought this version of events up, especially not after the bridging between Artemis, for whom she wants to see nice things happen, and Wally, who is a friend to one, and a mutual acquaintance to another. ]

I'd prefer any day other than Tuesdays and Thursdays... but that shouldn't stop things, if everyone else works out for those days. Let me know.

Ha! Coolest! Okay, I'll probably send everybody an email soon. I'll just stick you guys all on a list, maybe next week or something. This is gonna be so sweet!

[Wally pauses before reaching out to squeeze her arm, just for a second. He knows Annie was there, even if they didn't see much of each other.]

Look, I- thanks. This is gonna help. ...with those of us who were there, I mean.

[ She doesn't flinch or pull back - for once - though she does blink like she's not sure why he's saying thanks. She understands, of course, but it's not - what she expects. ]

It was your plan in the first place. Artemis is backing you up. You just weren't aware of it yet.

[ He's welcome. And she's glad, even if she's only saying so by looking away, pushing the hair back off her face. Annie's not good with people outside of the situations where she serves a specific role. Facilitating all of this... accidentally at first, then with a sense of purpose over time? It was whimsical. ]

Sure. [Jeez. She's so bad at taking compliments.

Wally just grins and waves, moving to let himself out.] Okay. I'll be in touch. Talk to you later, Annie! [And off he goes, high-speed down the street.]
