[Hal.

When Kid had seen that notice about Hal dying in the field, he'd grabbed for his communicator and was already halfway through dialing his contact info when he'd stopped. Jaime had been encouraging him for months to get back into contact with Hal but every time Wally thought about it, he remembered...stupid stuff.

Really stupid stuff that doesn't seem to matter now, in light of everything that's happened. This might not be the same Hal from home, but he's still Uncle Barry's best friend and he's always tried to do right by Wally, as much as he has -or hasn't- wanted it.

So he picks up.]

Uh...the Barry here? I'd say I'm not really, but in general I'm his nephew.

[but forget about that] Are you...okay?

[Things Hal keeps forgetting: his death last month. He's been asked how he's doing, but it really hasn't affected him at all. He'd like to avoid dying again, but he doesn't really have any lingering trauma from it which is why he immediately assumes it's one of those times where everyone thinks he hit his head and got amnesia even though he knows he remembers everything perfectly fine.]

Uh-- yeah, I didn't hit my head or anything and I'm physically and mentally cleared for the field.

Voice;

Hit y- dude you died. I meant are you okay post mortem.

Why wouldn't I be?

[It's only death, gosh!]

I- okay. Remind me to never pay a visit to your dimension, dude. [seriously. or actually maybe he should since people keep coming BACK from the dead there]

Why'd you ask about Barry? Is something going on?

Nothing! I'm getting a few facts straight is all. [Facts he should already know.]

Who're you telling about me?! I want to represent myself. Names, gimme names. I'll introduce myself.
