[Robin's definitely not in Heropa. Not only because there's not enough crime, but because it's hot and there's not enough tall buildings. Wally likes running down here because it's flat, but Robin likes the room to jump and turn and show off. If he's fighting crime solo, he's going to go somewhere he's most comfortable.

In fact, Wally's betting he's up in Virginia, establishing a presence in the city they're going to move to. That's why he's going to head there first through the porters -and thinks about how he won't be able to do this if he unregisters, instead having to make the several hour trip entirely on foot- and begins searching for him in the dingier part of the city.

Robin? Made out with two girls on his birthday? No way.]

It's gonna be a long search, because despite the bright red and yellow, Robin is very, very good at not being found when he doesn't want to be. Today he kind of does, though, so he doesn't make much of an effort. He does relocate a few times, though. Juuust to keep Wally on his toes.

In the end, Robin's perched on the roof of the courthouse amongst the gargoyles, legs dangling carelessly over the street below. He's eating a churro when Wally finally arrives. ]

Took you long enough. Got hungry waiting around. [ churro wave. ]

[Wally leans against a gargoyle, panting.] I sure hope you got one of those for me.

[Wally grabs it, climbs onto a gargoyle and gets comfortable.] All right, get started. Details. Right now. Two girls one closet.

The scene: handsome young bachelor Dick Grayson's 14th birthday party. Half the school was there, because you don't skip out on a Wayne Manor party, even if you're not invited. We were all playing spin the bottle or seven minutes in heaven or whatever — the name doesn't matter. You know the rules. And me and Barbara — you know, my best friend from school? The one in computer club with me? Smart, funny, redhead?

So there we were, all alone in the dimly lit game closet. The lighting was soft, the music muffled in all the right ways. Ro. Mantic.
